A piece of mail, a utility bill, a lease — anything with your name and a local address on it.
Pop it when you reach the front of the line and a volunteer will load your box. The whole stop takes about five minutes.
Boxes go out first-come, first-served until they run out. Earlier is better — we usually open the gate right at 7 AM.
Pull into the lot at 590 N. 96th and follow the cones. When you reach the front, roll down your window — a volunteer will ask for your photo ID and proof of address. Pop your trunk; another volunteer loads your box. Then you drive out.
That's the whole flow. No paperwork, no application, no questions about why you're here. If you'd rather be helped in Spanish, just say so at the window — uno de nuestros voluntarios te ayudará. Live outside East Mesa? Come on by while boxes last, or call us and we'll point you to a pantry closer to home.
Give us a call. We'll tell you what's in this week's boxes, whether the line is moving, or where the closest pantry is if you live out of area.
