We turned down a federal grant years ago because it would have meant turning people away who didn't fit a category. We don't ask categories at the window, so we don't take money that requires them.
An all-volunteer crew of about 25 runs each Saturday morning. A refrigerated truck on a weekly grocer route stretches every donated dollar further. Got food to donate instead? Drop it off Saturday between 7 and 10 AM. We sort everything that comes in — please, no expired items or opened packages.
